About this service
Better at home is funded by the Government of BC and managed by the United Way. It is designed to support seniors to remain independent in their home. Better at Home is a community based model which utilises both volunteer and professional service providers. All seniors living in Langford, Colwood and Metchosin can request a Better at Home service. Better at Home provides seniors with support for simple day to day tasks and this helps them maintain their independence and stay connected with their community.
Better at Home www.betterathome.ca is being offered for the first time in the Westshore, Victoria, BC. The goal of the Better at Home Program is to provide non-medical services to support seniors living in their homes for as long as possible. The program mobilizes local resources, networks and volunteers. We offer transportation to appointments, social visits and light housekeeping.
