Helping individuals to develop a deep love and respect for themselves and others occurs through an open sharing of ideas in a safe and compassionate environment. When the voice of each individual is heard their environment evolves where one feels free to express themselves. Group therapy encourages such dialogue. We believe people have greater respect for their life and the lessons presented when they feel comfortable with themselves and others. In setting fair and consistent rules initially and stating the importance of every activity, individuals are shown respect for their presence and time. In turn they learn to respect themselves, others, and their environment.
At Beyond 12, your journey from the moment you walk in the front door until you are ready to spread your wings on your own, will be one filled with compassion, kindness, love and understanding. You may feel as if you are broken so we are here to guide you to heal in a positive manner.
