About this service
The Castlegar and District Community Services Society Loans for Women Fund provides interest-free loans to women who are 18 years of age or older and who are leaving their homes because of abusive situations.
- Women must reside or be moving into the Castlegar District.
- A loan applicant must also be referred to the Fund internally, or from an agency that is providing her with advocacy and/or counseling.
- Loans will be considered for a period of up to twelve months from the date that the loan applicant has left an abusive situation or have experienced abuse in the past year (12 months).
Program includes budgeting classes, outreach, counseling and referrals.

Women must reside or be moving into the Castlegar District.
