About this service
When you become a volunteer for Campbell River Hospice Society, you will receive 24 hours of educational training plus 10 hours of education sessions throughout the year. The focus of the education sessions is our relational practice. At Hospice we provide psycho-social care for those who face life-limiting illness and those who are bereaved. Consequently, how we relate to those we serve is of paramount importance.
