About this service
The Pines is a one-level assisted living facility with 2 main resident wings centered around common activity, lounge and dining areas.
The building features many amenities and services including an activities and entertainment room, a large open dining room, indoor lounges and outdoor courtyards. Additional amenities include a hair salon and private family space, nail and foot care, hairdressing/barber services.
Persons living in a long-term care home are offered spiritual support through various religious and spiritual groups. Spiritual care may be provided through group meetings, one to-one visits, sermons and music & song.
We have a total of 36 publicly subsidized beds which includes 35 permanent long-term care beds and 1 short stay bed used for community respite care. The Pines also has a combination of single and double occupancy rooms.
Residents pay 80% of their after tax income, with minimum and maximum rates set by the Ministry of Health Services.
