About this service
A retired school bus was retrofitted in 2009 to become a travelling book mobile; bringing books and services to outlying areas. Throughout the year the bus has participated in the Lakes District Fall Fair, Indigenous Peoples Day & Canada Day celebrations.
The Bus is currently heading to the Southside each Monday offering a family program at:
- Southside Health and Wellness Centre 10:45 am - 12:00 pm
- Danskin (Cheslatta Training Centre) 12:20 pm - 1:40 pm
- Southside Economic Development Association Building (SEDA) 2:00 pm - 3:10 pm
