About this service
The Residential Care Aids (RCAs) provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to ensure that our clients maintain the healthiest life possible. The RCA works in collaboration with the Home Care Nurses (HCN) and the Community Health Nurses (CHN) in each community to ensure culturally sensitive and holistic care is provided.
OUR SERVICES
May include care following a hospital visit, chronic illness monitoring, and health and nutrition education. We also provide support to individuals requiring heath aids and equipment, and assess individuals for long-term care requirements if needed.
We currently provide Home Care services on-reserve to: Wetsuweten, Burns Lake Band, Nadleh Whuten, Cheslatta Carrier Nation, Nee Tahi Buhn, Yekooche First Nation, Skin Tyee, Stellaten, Takla Lake First Nation and Saikuz First Nation.
