About this service
Here at Strive Living Society, we like to refer to it as Family Care. Just like foster care, a child or youth in family care lives with a family, couple, or single caregiver in the caregivers home in the community. Children and youth participate in family activities and are integrated into the community. All of our family caregivers are qualified to provide a high standard of care and are focused on promoting the well-being of the child or youth. Strive carefully and thoroughly screens and selects all homes and caregivers before approving them for family care. Referrals from MCFD are required to become part of Strives Children and Youth Services Program.
