About this service
Dania Home is a Residential Care Facility with 102 beds providing quality residential health care services that reflect the values of trust, respect, caring, diversity. As early as 1938 the thought of a retirement home for senior citizens, similar to the ones in Denmark, was brought forward, and in 1940 a sick, lonely old gentleman on a visit to Vancouver from Ponoka, Alberta, expressed his wish that there should be a place for old Danes, like himself, to find comfort.
