About this service
Burnaby MoreSports Society (BMS) provides free after-school sports programs for children (Grades 2-5). We focus on removing traditional barriers for younger children who need more support to stay active and play sports regularly. In addition, helping older children (Grades 6-7) and youth (Grades 10-12) take on mentoring and leadership roles in our programs. BMS offers multi-sport programming throughout the school year:
- Basketball (Fall)
- Handball / Floor Hockey (Winter)
- Soccer (Spring)
Our recreational programs are now available at seven school locations:
- Edmonds Community School
- Kitchener Elementary School
- Morley Elementary School
- Stride Avenue Community School
- Armstrong Elementary School
- Cameron Elementary School
- University Highlands Elementary School
