About this service

Volunteers complete income tax returns for low-income earners income tax earners from March-August.

All tax services are provided to members. Donations are welcome! Tax receipts are issued for donations greater than $15.

Criteria of eligibility:

  • Burnaby resident
  • Single individual with an income of $40,000 or less per year.
  • Single Parent with an income of $45,000 or less per year.
  • A couple with an income of $50,000 or less per year.
  • For each dependent/child add $3,000
  • Investment interest income cannot exceed $1,000.
  • Current member of Burnaby Neighbourhood House (BNH).
