About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: In-Person Support Groups, including the BCES YA Circle have been cancelled and have been replaced with online support groups.
As a young adult living with epilepsy, you may be concerned about how epilepsy will affect your life or fear that you are dealing with epilepsy alone or feel as though you are the only person living with epilepsy. At the BCES YA Circle, each person's pain, issues or concerns are recognized and validated.
Sharing your experiences during the BCES YA Circle and learning from others will help put your mind at ease because the more you learn about epilepsy and how to cope with it, the less that epilepsy will be a huge concern in your life.
Listening to others share their experiences during the BCES YA Circle will introduce you to new possibilities of behaving during and dealing with various situations related to epilepsy because so much wisdom can be found from others.
Who can use it?
Young adults living with epilepsy who are 18 to 24 years old.
When is it open?
BC Epilepsy - YA Circle is open Third Tuesday of every month from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
