About this service
The BC Epilepsy Society provides free educational workshops on seizure first aid for elementary, middle and secondary schools through our Partners in Teaching program. We also provide fee-for-service educational workshops on seizure first aid for workplaces and other organizations.
Our free educational workshops go over seizure types and first aid, safety considerations, and ways that school staff can support the academic and developmental needs of people with epilepsy. They are an excellent addition to school professional developmental day activities or staff meetings. Click here for a letter about the workshops.
To request a workshop, please click here. Please note that free workshops are only done for schools. Other organizations that wish to host a workshop will need to pay for a workshop.
