About this organization
Capitol Hill Childrens Centre opened in June 2021. The Centre is operated by the Lower Mainland Purpose Society in partnership with the City of Burnaby and the Burnaby School District.
The Centre operates in the school grounds of the Capitol Hill Elementary School, in North Burnaby and will provide childcare for a group of 25 children, 3 to 5 year olds.
EACH CHILD CARE CENTRE supports the positive relationships between children, families and staff. Our program provides a caring, supportive and vital community services in an inclusive, nurturing and learning environment that promotes non-sexist and anti-racist values.
UNIVERSALLY accessing high quality childcare services that are publicly funded, comprehensive and parent involved should be available to all children and their families.
