About this organization
The Granisle Visitor Centre provides tourism information and insiders travel tips from the May long weekend until the September long weekend annually. Friendly staff will guide visitors to local attractions, including those not readily found on a map. The Centre also carries information about other destinations within BC. Guests can explore the on-site museum which offers an enlightening glimpse into Granisles past as a mining town, children can be amazed by the size of the mammoth bone replicas on display in the museum.
Granisle souvenirs are also available on site and visitors are also encouraged to check out the Crafters Hut, a consortium of hand-crafted items made by local artisans, which is located upstairs.The Centre is open seven days a week beginning May long weekend to the Labour Day weekend in September.
