About this service
Child and Youth Special Needs programs are intended to support a child or youth who is:
- A resident of British Columbia and
- Under the age of 19 and
- Diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability
- Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (This includes Autism, Asperger Syndrome, PDD-NOS, Rett Syndrome) or
- Eligible for the At Home Program that includes children who are assessed as dependent in at least three of four functional activities of daily living (eating, dressing toileting and washing)
