About this service
George Schmidt Centre is a second-stage housing facility for adult men wishing to continue their recovery journey. The facility, located on the Kinghaven Treatment Centre campus in Abbotsford BC, consists of 30 self-contained apartments with a residents lounge, fitness room and laundry facilities. Built with support from BC Housing, residents are expected to maintain a clean and sober lifestyle and be employed or looking for work. Residents are able to stay for up to 18 months.
Each fully furnished apartment includes a bed-sitting room, kitchen and private bath with laundry facilities available on site. Limited parking is available for those who have a vehicle.
