About this service
Hello Past CAPSU and APU families,
- There is no cost to families. Registration and a pre-participation meeting are required.
- We are wanting to let you know that FamilySmart will continue to offer our "Help for the Hard Times" workshop series online this fall. For October we will be offering an evening workshop series from 7-8pm and a noon hour workshop series from 12-1pm, both twice a week for 2 weeks.
- These workshops are for families and caregivers whose child or youth has been a patient at Surrey Memorial Hospital's Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit (CAPSU) or Adolescent Psychiatric Unit (APU).
- It's really tough to be going through hard stuff with a child or youth who is struggling with their mental health and they end up in crisis - and we want to help. We know what it is like because we have been there.

Families & caregivers whose child or youth has been a patient at CAPSU or APU
