About this service
New Beginnings Young Parent Program is a coordinated effort with Abbotsford School District and Abbotsford Community Services. The program is available for young parents who are pregnant or parenting to complete their grade 12 education with on-site child care and a variety of support services. Along with school completion and child care, parents can access the following:
- full time Parent Support Worker
- onsite food bank
- nurse practitioner
- public health nurses (including child immunization)
- parenting groups
- availability of work experience with classroom credit
