Abbotsford Hospice Society - End of Life Care

When the time is right for palliative support, Abbotsford Hospice Society offers a variety of services to address psycho-social, spiritual, and practical issues, at no cost to clients and their families. We offer end-of-life care services through trained client-support volunteers. They are a comforting presence for those at end of life and their families, and understand the importance of kindness and calm as they bear witness to this very personal journey. Holmberg House was designed to feel like a home. The 2nd floor includes 10 private patient suites, a family kitchen & lounge, childrens toys and games, a quiet/meditation room, and a sanctuary. There is also a beautiful garden and children's playground on our campus. Each one of our patient rooms feature a television, small fridge, radio/CD player, a desk and a wardrobe. Most rooms also feature a hide-a-bed where visiting family members can stay overnight if they wish. A sleeping cot can also be provided.

Individuals Must Be Registered With The Fraser Health (fh) Palliative Care Program Through A Referral From A Physician Or Health Care Professional.
