About this organization

COVID-19 Update: CLOSED - The City is closing or limiting public access to all city recreation centres and civic-facilities to curb the spread of COVID-19 and focus on providing essential city services.

Matsqui Recreation Centre is open 365 days a year from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 9:30 am - 8:30 pm on Sunday. We offer the following activities and services:

  • Regulation size ice rink
  • 25-metre swimming pool with wave machine
  • Zero Depth Beach access
  • Indoor water slide
  • Tots pool with platform
  • Hot tub, steam room,and sauna
  • Aerobics room
  • Teen activity centre (operated by the Abbotsford Youth Commission)and OAP hall
  • CBI Oasis Physiotherapy
  • 5,300 sq.ft. weight room / fitness centre with a dedicated women's only section
  • Public Swim, length swims and family swims
  • Public skating
  • Water and dryland fitness classes
  • Learn to Swim and Skate programs
  • Personalized Fitness training
