Abbotsford is a city to the west of the Greater Vancouver area, between the Fraser River and the Canada-US border. Seniors 65 and over make up about 15% of Abbotsfords total population of approximately 141,000+ residents. Twenty-five percent of the total population are of South Asian descent, the highest proportion in Canada.
