About this organization
Recovery Coaches provides, at no cost, coaching services to any Albertan (18+) in active addiction or any stage of recovery.
We assist people to build recovery their way and help refine, define and explore what is possible on their recovery journey. We will work with people in active addiction and during relapse (if one has a relapse). We do not provide counseling or 12-step sponsorship; however, we can help obtain a sponsor or counselor. The main difference between a recovery coach to 12 step sponsor is a recovery coach will never work through a program with the person. Though we may provide insight into what a person might expect from a sponsor. We also do not diagnose, prescribe or dictate treatment plans for people.
Recovery coaching can be done one to one or via groups. We provide coaching by phone, video, and in person (by appointment). You can call during hours of operation and speak to a coach immediately!

Any Albertan (18+) in active addiction or any stage of recovery

Recovery Coaches Alberta is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with possibility of evenings.
