About this service
The WHY When Hearts Yearn peer suicide support group is an 8 week closed support group for survivors who have lost a loved one by suicide. This group is led by experienced and trained facilitators who have also suffered and survived the loss of a loved one by suicide, we are committed to supporting and helping each other through the deep ocean of grief this type of loss causes. As well, breaking down the stigma associated with mental health and suicide. Participants will be required to sign up and commit to an 8 week progra, 2.5 hours a week, each week focusing on and understanding mental health, healing and hope.
