About this service
- To provide outreach and support in the community to connect with existing support services and to build a client base.
- To build relationships in the 5 rural communities to identify local needs and resources/partners and to profile NEAFAN and services being offered.
- To refer persons suspected of having FASD for assessment and support them to engage in the assessment process.
- Identify potential resources and services in the outlying communities and assist individuals with FASD to access community supports.
- Share information and deliver education to build community capacity to meet the needs of residents affected by FASD.
