About this organization

Mission: The theatre is a protected historic site owned by the Town of fort Macleod. The mission of the not-for-profit Empress Theatre Society is to develop, promote and provide cultural opportunities at the Empress Theatre and to respect and protect the historic significance of the Empress Theatre.

Activities: Digital cinema and live entertainment venue open to the public or available for private rental. We host movies, concerts, musicals, weddings, conventions, award shows, meetings, recitals, debates, memorials, tours, conferences, symposia, workshops, plays lectures, locations shoots, live recordings, parties and more.
