Spruceview Lodge was opened in 1994, as a 20 unit facility. In the fall of 2007 an additional 30 suites were added to include the Spruce View Heights and the Centennial Legacy Room. The lodge is located in a residential area in Whitecourt. Residents appreciate the comfort of being right next door to the hospital. This seniors home has four types of rooms for rent. There are (2) two bedroom suites, which include full kitchens and a living room area; (20) one bedroom suites which include a kitchen and living room area; (8) studio suites which include a kitchenette and (20) bed sitting rooms. This lodge has a beautifully landscaped courtyard with a gazebo and a newly renovated dining room (2013 completion).
