About this service
An initiative for patients suffering from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and other respiratory diseases is available for MRPCN clients. The COPD Support Group meets monthly at in the Legacy Room at the Spruce View Lodge and is facilitated by a Registered Nurse. The meetings include presentations from various health providers including a Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist and Oxygen providers to answer questions, provide demonstrations and address patient concerns. This program is modeled after the Breathe Easy Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program in Edmonton. Referrals are accepted from physicians and CDM nurses.
