About this organization
E.C.H.O. Society is a charitable non- profit society that is a service provider in the Northeast Region since 1998 throughout Whitecourt, Mayerthorpe and Fox Creek. Our mandate is to support people with disabilities to attain their full potential. The society is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is funded primarily through the Department of Community Development, Government of Alberta with The Persons with Developmental Disabilities overseeing our budget. We are proud members of the Disability Services Northeast Alberta along with twelve other service providers. We provide an array of training and personal support services to enable individuals with special needs to become a valuable part of their community.
