About this service
The Stars Mentoring Program provides Wetaskiwin school children 6-13 years of age with the opportunity to be matched with an adult mentor in their school environment. The program contributes to the development of positive self-esteem, school performance & attendance, social skills, and self-confidence.
The child and the adult spend one hour a week, in the childs school, doing activities of mutual interest such as playing games, reading, talking or just hanging out.
