About this service
We offer one-to-one, non-judgemental, respectful, and confidential support to anyone affected by elder abuse. All service provision is offered based on the clients voluntary participation. Working with older adults, concerned family/friends, colleagues, partnerships and community, the Elder Abuse Navigator provides: *Intake, assessment, supports and case management to those at risk of or experiencing elder abuse *Assistance in navigating complex cases and the multiple systems involved as potential sources of supports *Awareness, advocacy, outreach and referral services *Education and training on the prevention of relationship/elder abuse to: older adults, youth/schools, agencies, businesses and broader community members/groups *Re-connection for individuals, stakeholders and communities to the local Coordinated Community Response Models for the Prevention of Elder Abuse
