About this service
The Food Bank provides food hampers to low-income residents of Vulcan County as well as some programs and events. Donations can be made year round with non-perishable food items, money and fresh, clean garden produce.
The Food Bank hosts the Rural Reaching Home Homelessness Project that meets the needs of the Vulcan Countys homeless and at-risk of homelessness population with support for short-term emergency shelter and food, financial support for stable living arrangements, transportation for medical appointments, connection to safe permanent housing, bulk food dividing, life skills healthy eating/cooking and personal well-being sessions.
The Food Bank shares space with FCSS which can assist with filling out forms, assistance with government benefits, email, scanning, faxing, income tax filing, referrals and volunteering.
