About this service
The MFRC offers confidential support, information and referral to individuals with disabilities as well as caregivers of children, youth, and adults with disabilities.
Set up a one-on-one session with the MFRC Program Manager for a tailored list of resources and local/provincial support services to meet the unique needs of each family.
Services offered:
- Assistance in applying for funding opportunities
- Information sessions
- Networking opportunities
- One-on-one sessions
- Referrals to community agencies
- Support and resources
Parenting Peer Support Group
This informative and supportive group offers parent-to-parent peer support and networking for families with children/adults with special needs. Families will have the opportunity to connect with other agencies, professionals and families with similar concerns.
