Optimum Wellness Centres is pleased to provide Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at most of our locations. We use ancient methods developed over thousands of years. With a combination of treatments and techniques, we can help you restore balance to your body in a more holistic way. TCM is largely based on the concept of qi (pronounced as chee), which is your life force. Qi flows through your body via different pathways or meridians. According to this belief system, qi must be in perfect balance, flowing from meridian to meridian. Otherwise, you may become sick. Using a combination of TCM methods, we aim to restore your qis flow and balance, restoring your body to health. First Visit On your first visit, you will be met by our friendly support staff who will help you with filling out forms, answer any questions and help with anything else you need. You will then meet with the practitioner to discuss your specific concerns and health history. Assessment & Recommendation for Care Your practitioner will discuss your specific needs, present your options, suggest a treatment plan, and discuss the benefits and any risks associated with the recommended treatment. Treatment plans are specific to each patient.
