Strathmore FCSS - Income Tax Program

Starting March 1, if you have a modest income and a simple tax situation, Strathmore FCSS and volunteers can help prepare your basic 2021 income taxes. This service is for seniors and people that can't prepare their taxes on their own. Drop in or call 403-934-9090 to make an appointment. Bring Government issued photo identification, and all your tax slips to your appointment. At your appointment you'll fill in consent forms that allow FCSS to complete your taxes. Your tax slips will be stored in a locked location until they are processed. Taxes are processed in the order they are received, generally within 2 weeks of your appointment. Once done, you'll review your taxes and sign off on them before they are submitted to Efile. Eligibility Requirements Household Size Gross Household Income 1 Person $35,000 2 People $45,000 3 People $47,500 4 People $50,000 5 People $52,500 More than 5 People $52,500 + $2,500 for each additional person Strathmore FCSS can't assist with your taxes if you: Are self employed or have employment expenses Have business income and expenses Have rental income Have capital gains or losses Have filed for bankruptcy Are filing for a deceased person
