Shockwave therapy works to accelerate the bodys natural healing process. Strong energy pulses applied to the treatment area stimulate the metabolism and enhances circulation. The energy pulses are short, creating tiny bubbles that penetrate the tissue and expand and burst. The force created by the bubbles stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and tissue healing. First Visit On your first visit, you will be met by our friendly support staff who will help you with filling out forms, answer any questions and help with anything else you need. You will then meet with the practitioner to discuss your specific concerns and health history. Assessment & Recommendation for Care Your practitioner will discuss your specific needs, present your options, suggest a treatment plan, and discuss the benefits and any risks associated with the recommended treatment. Treatment plans are specific to each patient.
