Strathmore Country Gardens Club

Our group is a small one. We have around 15 members and usually there will be around 8-10 per meeting. We get together to socialize and enjoy all aspects of gardening. We share our ideas and work together to come up with projects and fieldtrips that interest us. We have a Christmas Social every year.

We enjoy a variety of activities together, such as touring gardens and greenhouses in the Strathmore area, sharing our yards for viewings, trading perennials, and having presentations at our monthly meetings. We also have a lot of fun at workshops where we learn to do things such as create cement stepping stones for the garden, turn our summer plant containers into beautiful displays for the winter season, or scrapbook a garden journal. New members are very welcome! If you are not on Facebook, you can also contact any of us on the "About Us" page or just come to the next meeting. You will find meeting times on this website's calendar and if you click on the date of the meeting, you will be given the location. (Usually they are held at 84 Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore, AB, in a meeting room at the Strathmore Library.) Please come and join us for a lot of garden club fun!
