In addition to general long-term care, provided at Heritage House, Strathcona offers the following specialized programs at Harvest House:
Dementia Care, Secure
- For residents with dementia or other form of cognitive impairment who would be at risk of becoming lost if they left the building unaccompanied.
Respite Care
- Provides short-term care in our centre for individuals with dementia health who live at home.
- Provides caregivers a period of rest or relief from their responsibilities.
- A referral is needed to access this service.
Adult Day Support Program
- Provides wellness services for individuals who live in the community and require a structured support program. Day programs provide social interaction, promote the individual's independence and provide respite for their caregivers.
