About this service
Available to residents of Strathcona County, our Community Outreach program provides one-on-one supports for anyone navigating domestic violence, or supporting a co-worker, friend, or loved one who is experiencing family violence.
Our community outreach worker provides:
- Emotional support, practical assistance, and advocacy.
- Education about abuse, and how to navigate it safely.
- Supported referrals to community agencies and other supports.
- Support navigating the legal system, including court support.
- Danger assessments and safety planning.
