About this organization
Sherwood Care was built in 1969 and is located in the heart of Sherwood Park, Alberta. The facility was designed for the elderly who were mobile, but in need of some form of assistance in their daily lives. Today, residents are older and require a much higher level of care and health intervention.
Continually upgrading and beautifying our facility enables Sherwood Care to meet the medical, physical, spiritual and mental health needs of our resident focused community.
Our residents particularly enjoy the series of lush and beautiful gardens on our property. The gardens provide extended space for residents to enjoy the outdoors, and bring some of Gods beauty a little closer for them. In fact it provides a bit of Gods beauty to the whole community, and won a 2011 Communities in Bloom award.
