G Mobile Unit is an Edmonton area-based dental hygiene provider headed by Registered Dental Hygienist, Gwen Andrews.
Gwen is about bringing the mobile dental services business model to Edmonton and beyond. By offering dental hygiene services in various community settings, Gwen is able to reach a wide range of people who might not otherwise be able to access them.
Gwens dreams of making a difference were born of a change to Albertas regulations surrounding dental services in 2006. It was at this time that the provincial regulatory body had set forth changes to the Health Professions Act, allowing dental hygienists to operate independently, beyond the scope of a dentists supervision.
