About this service

This type of treatment focuses on relieving neuropathic pain, which is caused by irritation or pressure on nerves, that consequently make certain muscles become shortened and hypersensitive. These tightened muscles can cause pain by pulling on tendons as well as compressing the joints that they cross. This can lead to joint pain, tendonitis and extremely tender trigger points in the muscle and a chronic pain cycle. The mechanical stimulation of the fine needle into the target tissue is what causes the therapeutic effect and release of these tight bands of muscle.
