About this service
Hydrotherapy is a warm water pool class tailored to individuals recovering from lower or upper extremity injuries. The program is run by one of our Physiotherapists and designed to help patients regain range of motion, balance, strength and endurance to help restore a proper gait pattern. Individuals participating in this class must not have any open wounds or incisions.
Hydrotherapy class runs Thursday morning between 8:00AM-9:00AM in the TLC shallow/warm pool. Participants must book in for the class through Parkland Rehabilitation front desk, not the Tri Lesisure Centre. Cost per session is $35. Coverage may be available for those individuals who are post surgery or fracture through Alberta Health Services. Coverage may also be possible through benefits and WCB.
