About this service
Service provides assistance to single parents and parents in blended families with limited income to get child support agreements or court orders.
Service targeted to:

- with limited income
Individuals receiving Income Support, Alberta Adult Health Benefit, and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) are automatically eligible.
To access service (by appointment): contact a Child Support Services office - interview required with a Child Support Worker
Items to bring to the interview include:
- birth & marriage certificates
- previous agreements or court orders
- address, telephone number, and a recent picture of child's other parent
- record of support payments already made, if applicable
- confirmation of your income including your last 3 years of Income Tax Notices of Assessment and 3 recent paystubs, if applicable
- confirmation of children's expenses including childcare receipts, music lessons, tutoring, and athletic activities, if applicable
