About this organization

The Ryu Senshi Judo Club is a recognized club in good standing under the Provincial Association of Judo Alberta. Our mandate is to provide our membership an opportunity to experience and learn Judo. Judo is a martial art and an Olympic sport that provides a unique recreational and cultural component. It can be practiced as a competitive and non competitive sport, and provide leadership opportunities for all its community members. At our club we currently provide programming for members as young as 5 years old to 50 years and older. Judo improves the participants' quality of life by providing a sport that is safe, fun, dynamic, social and educational and we are there to assist our athletes in reaching their personal goals. As a non-profit organization, the club's goal is to be affordable to all sections of the population. All proceeds are reinvested back into promoting and supporting the club members.
