About this service
Affordable, appropriate housing for MD seniors.
In partnership with the Town of Slave Lake and the MD of Opportunity, Lesser Slave River is a member municipality of the Lesser Slave lake Region Housing Authority (LSLRHA). This vital organization works to provide all residents of the region with access to affordable, appropriate, safe and suitable housing to help improve the ability of seniors in the community to live healthy and active lives. In addition to the member municipalities, the LSLRHA is governed by the Royal Canadian Legion #110 - Slave Lake Branch, and the Metis Nation of Alberta Region 5.
LSLRHA houses more than 650 individuals in 335 units, staffed by more than 35 full and part-time workers who are directly employed in various capacities; administration, management, maintenance and direct service personnel.
