About this organization
My PhD is from Newburgh Theological Seminary. My research was on teaching forgiveness in anger/stress management groups. I have provided individual, couple and family counseling to clients of varying ages with multiples presenting problems. My clinical training and supervision over the years has been in cognitive-behavioral approaches and brief solution focused therapy. I have also had the opportunity to use psychodynamic approaches with more long -term cases. I have developed and facilitated numerous psycho-educational groups in such topics as anger management, stress management and care-giver stress. In terms of mental health, I am well versed in working with depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder and PTSD. I have also been able to support clients at various stages in the recovery process from drug and alcohol addiction.
