About this service
Create lasting memories, re-energize as individuals and families, and reconnect with others at the annual Legacy Place Society Family Camp.
Each year on the May long weekend, Legacy Place Society brings together our audience of first responders, emergency services, and military families to do the simple life of camping. The campsite is exclusive to our audience only for this weekend. Just think over the course of the weekend that nine meals and various day snacks will not require any thinking to prepare or clean up after no house cleaning or yard work, no cell phones or Facebook interference over the dinner table laughter and songs around the campfire encouragement to get on that horse, up the climbing wall or survive the zipline adrenaline a time of reflection and conversation with old acquaintances and new relationships built with the newcomers.
