About this organization
Mount St. Francis Retreat, located on the outskirts of Cochrane, Alberta and overlooking the Big Hill Creek Valley, is a Christian retreat centre. For those wishing time apart in intimacy with God, the Mount offers moments of silence within the hustle and bustle of modern life.
St. Francis of Assisi continues to inspire the ecumenical ministry of the Retreat Centre that began in 1949.
We continue to offer a variety of retreats to the many people who desire spiritual nourishment and prayerful direction. We proclaim Gods message of life in abundance and provide an atmosphere of welcome, quiet and peace where retreatants can grow spiritually.
We look forward to the future as we strive to minister to the people of Southern Alberta while maintaining the traditions of St. Francis for peace, creation, and serving the spiritual needs of our community.
