About this organization
West Country Midwives provides full scope Canadian Model midwifery care to the families of West Central, Alberta. Clients may apply for care from any surrounding communities. This care is offered out of our office based in Rocky Mountain House, AB. Our main hospital is Rocky Mountain House Healthcare Center but have privileges at Red Deer Regional for clients who who need a Level 2 hospital for medical reasons.
We also offer weekly clinics at the OChiese Health Center and the Sunchild Health Center for families who live in these communities. Families from Big Horn are welcome to see us in Rocky Mountain House. We are very interested in supporting Drayton Valley clients and welcome interest from Drayton Valley clients and hope to be able to offer prenatal care and postpartum care in Drayton Valley if there is sufficient interest.
